My project is to show a community picture and how the life used to be in Horn of African nomad community and how it progressing from early stage up to now. With this in mind I would like to make a website that I can organize my thoughts, pictures, music and researches. In this website there will be a cultural product which will be available for sell in the future.
As a student of community portrait I would like to present the needs and the resources of Horn of African nomadic communities. The resources are what the community has originally whether is material or immaterial and the needs are what wish to have. It is a development that they struggling with. The physical development will not happen unless the metaphysical development takes place. This will take me one step back looking their culture of original and one step forward to look how to develop that culture. Then, I would like to hook up the past to the present life. Obviously, I will not escape some philosophical issue that both traditional and contemporary life is involved. I will try my best to cover most of what have mentioned in my brainstorm. If I could not, it will be a good learning experience for me.

Very interesting. However, it looks like more than a logo in your design.
Logo is short for logotype or a symbol used as an identifying mark. Logos are very simple and used for branding (ex. Nike "swoosh"). I suggest you pick one symbol from the image you posted to make into a logo. Visit http://www.coolhomepages.com and click on the Logo section for more ideas.
